RPF organizes parade on 145th birth anniversary of Sardar Patel
Ferozepur, October 31, 2020: Today, the railways authorities celebrated the 145th birth anniversary of Iron Man of India, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel as National Unity Day, by organizing a parade by the Railway Protection Force personnel, under the tutelage of Addl. Divisional Rail Manager, Ferozepur Division, Sukhwinder Singh,
On this occasion, the ADRM administered the oath of office to the officers and employees present on the occasion of National Unity Day. He asked all the officers and employees to dedicate themselves for maintaining the unity, integrity and security of the nation.
ADRM said, after independence, he united hundreds of scattered princely states and laid the strong foundation of today’s strong India adding that for the unity and progress of the nation, we should do our job honestly. He said that the unification of the country was made possible by the foresight and actions of the Iron Man Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, which the country will never forget. Therefore, we must contribute to ensure the internal security of the country.
The parade was also organized by the Railway Protection Force before the swearing in of National Unity Day and 50 personnel participated in this parade which was followed by a ‘nukad natak’ by following Covid-19 medical protocols of wearing masks and maintaining social distance.
