Retired PTI Teacher booked for producing fake certificates at Ferozepur
Ferozepur, February 5: A case has been registered against a retired PTI teacher following a complaint received form Principal Secretary of Department of School Education, Anjali Bhawra. Nishan Singh, SI, Ferozepur said that Sukhminder Singh son of Puran Singh, resident of Village Abbarhar Kothe under Zira Sub-division was working as PTI at Govt. Middle School, Lohgarh near Ferozepur, now retired, started his service career with Punjab Education Department on adhoc basis on December 12, 1975 and his services were regularized on April 1, 1977.
He said that Sukhminder had taken premature retirement during 2004 and it was found, that he had used fake certificates of Bihar School Education Board Patna, to get the job as PTI.. A case was later registered against the flee offender at Ferozepur Sadar Police Station.
The police is still investigating the matter and more facts are likely to come surface. Sukhminder Singh accused in the case could not be contacted to know his version about the submission of academic certificate of Bihar and getting pre-mature retirement
