Added here, it is not for the first time that the mobiles and SIMs have been recovered from the jail inmates rather it is a regular feature as and when the search operation is carried; such material is recovered from the jail inmates which has put a big question on the security arrangements of the jail.
At the same time, with the recent recovery of mobiles, has brought to the fore of chinks in the foolproof security arrangements the connivance of jail officials helping in reaching of mobiles in the prisoners’ barracks cannot be ruled out despite checking at the various ends. The purpose of operating of mobiles from inside the jail premises is clear that the same is used for threatening the people and running illegal businesses otherwise the calling facility inside the jail premises have been made under observation for a certain particular time.
