Railways to highlight role of RPF services, flagged off LED equipped vehicle from Hussainiwala
Ferozepur, July 5, 2022: A vehicle equipped with LED to highlight the role of Railway Protection Force was flagged off by Dr.Seema Sharma, Divisional Rail Manager, Ferozepur Division, today from Martyrs’ Memorial Hussainiwala for 18 locations in Punjab-J&K. The Railway Protection Force (RPF) band played patriotic tunes on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, DRM said, it is a part of celebration of Amrit Ka Mahostav – 75 years of India’s Independence throughout the country.
Today, a vehicle equipped with LEDs was flagged off by the Divisional Railway Manager, Dr. Seema Sharma from the National Martyrs’ Memorial Shaheed=e-Azam Sardar Bhagat Singh, Rajguru, Sukhdev and Batukeshwar Dutt located in Hussainiwala.
DRM said, this LED equipped vehicle will travel from Firozpur to 18 locations in Punjab and Jammu and Kashmir as a service initiative by which the extraordinary work of Railway Protection Force will be displayed using video graphic messages.
On this occasion Commanding Officer of 3 Grenadiers Major Shakti, SP Ferozepur Balbir Singh, Commanding Officer of 136 Battalion BSF Birender Kumar and both ADRMs Balbir Singh and B.P. Singh, Senior Divisional Security Commissioner, Rajneesh Tripathi and other officers were present.
