Railways cancel, short-terminate 9 trains in Punjab
Ferozepur, January 13, 2020: In view of on-going agitation of farmers in Punjab and Delhi borders, the railways has to reschedule its plan on day today basis which has caused inconvenience to the passengers besides putting a loss to the railways in crore of rupees.
Today, the railway has cancelled two trains and short terminated seven trains in Punjab.
CANCELLATION OF TRAINS: (2)
The 05211 Darbhanga- Amritsar special train journey commencing on 14.01.2021 will remain cancelled. Consequently, the 05212 Amritsar-Darbhanga special JCO 16.01.2021 will also remain cancelled.
SHORT TERMINATION/ SHORT ORIGINATION OF TRAINS: (7)
02715 Nanded- Amritsar exp JCO 14.01.21 will be short terminated at Chandigarh. Consequently, the 02716 Amritsar-Nanded exp. JCO 16.01.21 will short originate from Chandigarh and remain partially cancelled between Chandigarh -Amritsar- Chandigarha.
Diversion of trains
The 02903 Mumbai Central- Amritsar express special JCO 13.01.21 will be diverted to run via Beas- Tarntaran-Amritsar
The 02904 Amritsar- Mumbai Central express special JCO 14.01.21 will be diverted to run via Amritsar- Tarntaran- Beas.
The 02925 Bandra Terminus – Amritsar express special JCO 14.01.21 will be diverted to run via Beas-Tarntaran – Amritsar.
The 02926 Amritsar- Bandra Terminus express special JCO 14.01.21 will be diverted to run via Amritsar- Tarntaran- Beas.
The 08309 Sambalpur –Jammutawi express special JCO 14.01.21 will be diverted to run via Ludhiana-Jalandhar Cantt – Pathankot Cantt..
