Railways booked Shiv Sena workers for disrupting rail operation between Beas-Butari stations
Ferozepur, April 30, 2015 : On Wednesday, about 50-60 Shiv Sena workers in registered their protest with regard to their demands, against the Power Department, Punjab, disrupted the rail operation by sitting at unmanned railway crossing No.43A at 12 noon between Beas-Butari stations, KM 445 1/3 on Amritsar-Sahnewal Railway Section, under Ferozepur Rail Division, to register their protest against their demands.
Giving this information, Md. Shadan Zeb Khan, Sr.DSC RPF said, immediately on getting the information, RPF and SDM Baba Bakala reached the spot and managed to lift the dharna by the protesters at 1.30 pm.
He further said, the railway after registration of a case under No.1560/15 under sections 174 on April 29, 2015, against the unidentified Shiv Sena workers under the Railway Act for making disruption in the railway operations, is looking for the arrest of the alleged accused.
The action of RPF officials was appreciable to manage to lift the dharna to clear the rail track, said Md. Shadan Zeb Khan, Sr.DSC RPF Divisional Rail office, Ferozepur.
