Railway runs Amrit Kalash Yatra superfast special rain between Jammu-Tawi-New Delhi
840 volunteers from J&K left for Delhi with earthen pots
Ferozepur, October 29, 2023: Under the ‘Meri Mati Mera Desh’ campaign, – a symbol of national unity, the railway has decided to run Amrit Kalash Yatra superfast special rain between Jammu-Tawi-New Delhi, which was flagged off by the officials of the Ministry of Culture along with the railway officials.
A total of 840 volunteers from Jammu and Kashmir left for Delhi with earthen pots. Artists of the Department of Culture presented a cultural program on the occasion of the departure of Amrit Kalash Yatra Special Train.
These special trains will reach Delhi from the capitals of many states of the country and other major stations in Amrit Kalash with soil collected from all corners of the country. In this context, the Amrit Kalash Yatra Superfast Special train between Jammu Tawi and New Delhi departed from Jammu Tawi at 08:15 last night and reached New Delhi at 06:20 this morning. On return, this special train will depart from New Delhi at 09:15 AM on November 1 and reach Jammu at 06:10 PM on the same day.
