Qureshi’s extraordinary love for Shaheed Bhagat Singh
Ferozepur September 30, 2017: Extraordinary love for Shaheed Bhagat Singh was witnessed when Qureshi – Imtiaz Rashid Qureshil Advocate and Chairman Pak-IndiaBhagat Singh Memorial Foundation in Pakistan visited Press Club, Ferozepur and kissed the painting of Bhagat Singh on the wall.
Not only this, Qureshi’s love can be measured when he brought water from the hand pump of ancestral house of Bhagat Singh for Gurjit Kaur niece of Bhagat Singh.
The gestures of Qureshi – who was in India to participate in 110th Birthday celebrations of Shaheed Bhagat Singh – proved the words of Bhagat Singh – “They may kill me but they cannot kill my ideas”.
It is said that we should remember the ideas of man because a man can be killed and forgotten but not his ideas. Even after hundred years a simple slogan coined by Bhagat Singh – Inquilab Zindabad – can still change the world as he still remains an inspiration for the whole nation.
Qureshi said, Bhagat Singh is not only loved by the Indians but also by the masses of Pakistan for his sacrifices of martyrs’ for freedom from the clutches of British government.
He said, BHagat Singh was a real revolutionist in every sense as he stood up for what he belied in and his belief came from an objective analysis of every situation that he faced.
He expressed his pleasures that Momin Malik Advocae from Panipat will associate him to pursue the innocence case of Bhagat Singh Lahore High Court.
