Preet Nagar Residents Welfare Society celebrates Independence Day with Tota Singh Cabinet Minister, Punjab
Ferozepur, August 16, 2016: Taking an inspiration from Prime Minister, Narendra Modi’s call to celebrate Independence Day in each locality of the country, Preet Nagar Welfare Society at Ferozepur celebrated Independence Day after 40 years – a locality where Kamal Sharma, former BJP President and Member, National Executive Committee BJP .
It was special occasion when Jathedar Tota Singh, Cabinet Minister paid a special visit to the colony, to unfurl the National Flag on 70th Independence Day celebrations at Preet Nagar, over a simple and impressive function organized by the Society.
Tota Singh appreciated the initiative of the Society to celebrate Independence Day which will promote harmony and the spirit of common brotherhood amongst the residents of the Society.
It was really a memorable event for the residents of Preet Nagar on the visit of Cabinet Minister over a short notice.
Earlier, Tota Singh, hoisted the National Flag at Shaheed Bhagat Singh Stadium.
Present among others were Er.DPS Kharbaanda, DC, Ashwani Grover, President, MC, Balwant Singh Rakhri, Chairman Block Samiti and in good number of BJP leaders and workers and residents of the colony.
