PR Joint Action Committee urges govt to complete 2407 buses fleet
Ferozepur, June 22, 2017: The Punjab Roadways Depots Joints Action Committee today urged the government complete the fleet of 2407 buses besides considering the due promotions of the staff and implementation of 6th Pay Commission Report, said Balwant Singh Bhullar, President, while addressing the staff members over a gate rally organized today.
Giving a warning to the government, Bhullar said, the hanky-panky in the time-table of the buses to adjust the private transporters should be stopped.
The other demands like overtime to the staff, scrapping of contract system, filling up of vacant posts, rest room for the staff and regularization of staff should also be acceded to, he added.
He also pointed out that the taking of illegal possession of the land in the depots by the management, should be stopped forthwith.
He threatened that in case their demands are not accepted, they will intensify their agitation to register their protest for the acceptance of genuine demands.
