Poll-day ruckus between two party workers in Ferozepur, one injured

Ferozepur, February 20, 2022:  An incident of ruckus between BJP and AAP workers has been reported at village Jallo in Ferozepur, injuring one of the AAP workers critically.

As per the report DC along with police officials went to the spot.  Injured person Surjit Singh of AAP alleged that Rana Sodhi’s ( a BJP candidate from Ferozepur) people beat him up.  The incident too place in the village and not at the polling station.  He was taken to the hospital.  His vote has been polled by him.  MLR is being done and FIR will be registered accordingly.

However, polling at the Polling Station was continuing peacefully.
