Police held 2 with 2 kg heroin in Ferozepur
Ferozepur, September 25, 2023: Working swiftly on a tip-off, the Ferozepur police claimed to have recovered 2 kg heroin.
Divulging with the details, the police official said, a report was received from the informer that two persons namely Harjinder Singh of Sidhwan Bet district Jagraon and Nirmal Singh of Jhughe Chandi Wala in Ferozepur are waiting for the customer for delivery. On raiding, both were intercepted and heroin was recovered from the kit on the shoulder wrapped in a plastic envelope. A case has been registered against both the accused under NDPS Act and police remand will be taken after producing them in the court. Further in-depth investigations will be held to crack the sources of purchase and delivery to proceed legally accordingly.
