Police books Police for registration of false case

Ferozepur April 24, 2017: The police has booked its own official for registration of false case under NDPS Act by lifting a child and demanding Rs.4.70 lac bribe from the father of the child.

In the crime report released, a case has been registered under Section 343 IPC and 7/13 Pfrevention of Corruption Act 1988, on the statement of the father of the child against Asstt. Inspector, Incharge Anti Narcotics Cell, Ferozepur.

Giving this information, Ranveer Singh, SP(H) informed that in the statement given by Gurpal Singh son of Deedar Singh of Khacharwala, Ward No.2 Mallawnala stated that on March 30, 2017, Asstt. Inspector Hardev Singh Incharge Narcotic Cell Ferozepur kidnapped his son Luvpreet Singh while playing Volleyball.  Later on, a false case was registered afainst Luvpreet  and has accepted bribe amount of Rs.4.70 lacs.

He further stated that police has booked a case against the alleged accused and further investigations are on.
