Pinky inaugurates Basti Tankan Wali RUB in Ferozepur
Ferozepur, November 4, 2018: The long-awaited Basti Tankan Wali Railway Under Bridge constructed at a cost of Rs.10 crore, was thrown open for the public today.
It took more than two years to complete the construction after handing over the cheque of Rs.10 crore cost to the railway, for which the residents of this border town had been waiting since Independence of India. While arrangements for its inauguration were made by the BJP workers but Parminder Singh Pinki, Congress MLA grabbed the opportunity to inaugurate the RUB and BJP workers kept standing there. He said, the Modi government has failed on all fronts and in case Modi feels there had been development in the country or in Ferozepur then he should dare to contest from Ferozepur to know his worth.
The initiative for this RUB was taken during the tenure of SAD-BJP government with the sole initiative of Kamal Sharma, Member National BJP Executive Committee who had said whosoever may inaugurate it, the people of Ferozepur knows the reality.
On the other hand, the railway officials were seen saying before both the party leaders that the construction of RUB is due to the collective efforts of all.
