Pension delayed, PSEB Pensioners Association threatens to intensify stir

Ferozepur, December 5, 2017:  The Pensioners’ Association of the Punjab State Electricity Board has decided to intensify the stir against the non-fulfilment of their demands including non-release of pension for the last couple of months.

The retired employees are gearing up for an agitation against the Powercom management and the Punjab Government.

Addressing the protesters, Chanan Singh, President, Pensions Association, City Circle said, for the last couple of months, the pension has not been released with the result they are facing financial problem to run the day today household affairs.

He further said, in protest, the gate rallies have been organized throughout the state against the management of the board.

The association members added that if their demands were not fulfilled, they would initiate a series of protests.
