Parole jumper in drugs case arrested by Ferozepur  Police

Ferozepur, January 17, 2022:  Ferozepur Police has arrested accused Kikkar Singh who jumped parole in NDPS Act for recovery of 260 gm intoxicant powder, after 21 months.

Divulging with details, the SSP Ferozepur Dr Narendra Bhargawa informed that a tip-off was received that Kikkar Singh, who is already involved in NDPS Act case and visits his home off and on and doing the business of habit-forming drugs and if raided now, can be nabbed with a huge quantity of drugs.

Working actively on the in-puts, a special team was constituted headed by  Jagdish Kumar, DSP along with Inspector  Narcotic Cell in charge, Parminder Singh Bajwa and arrested Kikkar Singh wanted since April 2020 when he failed to return to the jail after completion of his parole and was declared as a proclaimed offender.   During the search of his house, 1,100 habit-forming drugs from the almirah were also recovered, he added.

DSP informed further in-depth investigations are on with a special focus on the activities of Kikkar Singh during the parole jumper period and more recovery is expected to come on the surface.
