Ferozepur, December 12, 2023: The Punjab Police and Border Security Force in a joint operation recovered 3 kg of heroin dropped by a drone in the field of a farmer in village Natha Singh Wala in Ferozepur disrtrict on Monday,

As per the report, during the night, Pakistani drone returned after throwing three packets of heroin near the check post NS Wala (Dhani Natha Singh) of 160 battalion of BSF in Firozpur, Punjab. During the search operation on Monday evening, BSF and police team recovered heroin.

During a search operation at 3 o’clock near check post NS Wala under the 160 battalion of BSF jointly with the police, a packet dropped by a Pakistani drone was found in a field on the Indian side of the barbed wire border about one kilometre on Indian side. On opening, three packets of heroin were recovered from him, weighing around 3 kg.  The owner of the farm from where heroin was found is being interrogated.
