One death, 107 fresh COVID-19 positive cases in Ferozepur
Ferozepur, April 24, 2021: The positive cases are flowing rapidly in the Ferozepur district and the figure of total active cases has gone to 900 including 107 fresh Covid-19 cases reported on Saturday.
As per the details, 1,24,834 samples were taken since the outbreak of coronavirus in this part, against 1,17,471 have been tested negative, 6,957 as positive, while 5,857 have recovered leaving the active cases to 900 and still result of 406 samples, is awaited, said health official.
However, one death of 38 years old female has been reported in Ferozepur urban block taking the total tally to 199.
In April 1643 Corona positive cases have been reported with an alarming situation of the highest single day of 229 on Friday. In the vaccination drive, 60,091 have been given the first and second dose of Covishield Vovaxine in private and government hospitals of 45 plus age including the health and frontline workers.
The civil, health and police administration are making appeals to the people to strictly follow the Covid guidelines which is only the way to give a tough fight to the virus and it could only be possible with the cooperation from one and all.
