One burnt alive in head-on collision between two trucks
Ferozepur October 27, 2018: One driver was charred to death in a fire that engulfed two trucks, loaded with paddy and crasher, after a head-on collision at village Lohgarh near Ferozepur.
Such was the impact of the collision, both the vehicles were mangled and caught fire and driver of one of the vehicle was trapped inside. Before anyone could reach there for help, the driver burnt alive while the other driver was seriously injured, who was sent to the hospital in the ambulance where his condition is reported to be serious, with the help of the police.
Giving this information, Jaswant Singh in charge Kulgarhi police station said, Surjit Singh driver resident of Mamdot was transporting the paddy towards Mamdot when it hit with the truck from the opposite direction driven by Balkar Singh of Naushara in Gurdaspur and there was the head-on collision.
Surjit Singh driver died on the spot and Balkar Singh driver was seriously injured. Police have started the further investigation into the incident.
