On call from Pb & Haryana Bar Council -Lawyers observe strike today in support of Yadav

Ferozepur, July 26, 2016 : On a call from Pb & Haryana Bar Council, the awyers observe strike today in support of Naresh Yadav, the 42-year-old AAP MLA from Mehrauli who has been named as an accused in a Quran desecration case in Punjab.Yadav, who practised in the Dwarka courts before getting elected as an MLA in 2015, has found support within the bar association.

Giving this information, Shivdeep Singh Sandhu, President, Parvinder Singh Sodhi, Vice President and Sukhpal Singh, Secretary, Bar Association said, the advocates in Ferozepur have observed strike on account of false case registered against Advocate Naresh Yadav MLA and arresting him by the Punjab Police.

The people who had come to the court to pursue their cases had to face a lot of inconvenience.

Added here that Yadav is one of three AAP co-conveners in Punjab, along with MLAs Amanatullah Khan and Prakash Jarawal. Convener Sanjay Singh.
