Northern Railway earns highest ever Parcel Revenue of Rs.500 crore
Ferozepur, March 24, 2023: Northern Railway earns highest ever Parcel Revenue of Rs.500 crore.
Milestone of Rs. 500 Crore as Parcel Revenue achieved by NR
Northern Railway achieved 1st Position in Parcel and Luggage Revenue amongst all Zones in Indian Railways up to Feb.2023
Shri Ashutosh Gangal, General Manager Northern Railway informed that despite the various constants and challenges, Northern Railway has successfully achieved the Parcel Revenue of Rs. 500 Crore during the period from April-2022 to February-2023, A milestone has been achieved by Northern Railway and NR has surpassed the parcel and revenue target of Railway board of Rs 430.68 Crore during the financial year 2022-23, Northern Railway has earned Rs 470.74 Crore Parcel revenue and has surpassed the target while one month in still remaining in the financial year 2022-23.
Only Northern Railway has achieved the Milestone of Rs. 500 Crore in a year (2022-23) in Parcel Revenue on 20.3.2023 in Indian Railways history while no other Zonal Railway has earned so far. Northern Railway has achieved 1st Position in Parcel and Luggage Revenue amongst all Zones in Indian Railways up to Feb.2023.
