No special announcement by PM at Hussainiwala, only assurance to take steps for solving issues concerning state

CM PAYING TRIBUTES TO MARTYRS AT HUSSAINIWALACongress MLAs Parminder Pinky & Raja Warring left without attending Martyrdom day function

 

 

Hussainiwala (Ferozepur), March 23 : Prime Minister Narendra Modi was here to pay tributes to martyrs – Shaheed Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev.

 

During his about half an hour speech, after paying tributes at the Samadhi of martyrs, Modi did not make any special announcement except giving assurance to take steps for solving issues concerning states raised by the Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal and Punjab BJP President, Kamal Sharma.

 

The people of border two were anxiously waiting for the visit of Prime Minister and have high expectations for announcement of some special package for the border town, but all hopes were faded when no announcement was made.

 

The major demands of the people include opening of Hussainiwala Border, setting up of Industry to create job opportunities for local pass outs and inclusion of Ferozepur among 100 Smart City Plan of Rs.7000 crore.

 

PM appealed to the farmers of Punjab to adopt modern techniques to save water to have more crop besides use of  chemicals for crops scientifically as in Punjab the consumption of chemicals for crops is 57 per cent i.e. 13 per more than the normal of about 4 per cent.

 

He also urged the people of India to celebrate 2022 as Jubilee Year of India’s independence with an aim of  “House for All”.  He also expressed his desire to celebrate 150th Birth Anniversary of Mahatama Gandhi in 2019  as ‘Amrut Mahotsav’

 

 

Modi said that our next plan is to strengthen the states with more powers.

 

He also urged the farmers to  work with long term strategy to move forward with the blessings of martyrs to fulfill their dreams.

 

 

He referred to one of the Punj Piaras from Gujarat and thus having  blood relations with Punjab as one of the Punjab Piaras is from Gujarat : PM

 

Elaborates arrangements of security were arranged to maintain law and order and the visit of the Prime Minister passed off peacefully.

 

However, Congress MLAs Parminder Pinky and Raja Warring were seen leaving the place of function, without attending Martyrdom day function of PM at Hussainiwala alleging humiliation by Administration by not providing allotted seats despite being duly invited officially.
