NGO promotes Road Safety with ‘Yeh Diwali Helmet Wali’ at SBS State University

Ferozepur,  November 11, 2023:  In a dedicated effort to raise awareness about road safety, a leading NGO Mayank Foundation distributed helmets to students of SBS State University, Ferozepur, as part of their signature campaign ‘Yeh Diwali Helmet Wali.’

With the festive season around the corner, the Mayank Foundation aims to emphasize the importance of protecting lives on the roads, urging individuals to celebrate responsibly.
The distribution took place during the Training Workshop on Road safety organized by the Punjab State Road Safety Council, where volunteers of the foundation Deepak Sharma & Ashwani Sharma were keynote speakers.

“Yeh Diwali Helmet Wali is not just a campaign; it’s a commitment to safeguard lives on our roads. We believe that by distributing helmets during this festive season, we can encourage responsible behavior and contribute to a safer community,” said Deepak Sharma, founder of the Mayank Foundation.

The signature campaign advocates for a collective effort to promote road safety, encouraging students to make wearing helmets a habit. By engaging with the youth at SBS State University, the Mayank Foundation aims to create a ripple effect, influencing positive road safety behavior among the wider community.
