National science research institute for teenager to organize Workshop on police functioning
Ferozepur, February 5
In a major move to further strengthen the mutual trust between Police and public, district police administration has decided to organize a workshop on policing in collaboration with National science research institute for the teenager on February 7.
Disclosing this here today, SP Ajmer Singh Bath said that the workshop would take place at Bhasin palace, Ferozepur Cantt from 10.30 onwards in which students would be able to come to know about the functioning of police, star and rank system, law and order control system, arms unit, community policing etc.
He said that it was observed that general public especially students are not aware of the policing in the state and this camp would be the torch bearer to strengthen the bond between police and public. He also said that Deputy inspector general of police Rajinder Singh and SSP Ferozepur Bhupinder Singh Sidhu would be the chief guest, who will share their experience with students besides providing the inputs about the preparation to join the elite forces. SP headquarter Amarjeet Singh, SP D Ajmer Singh Bath, Kashmir Kaur SP crime would also share their valuable thoughts with the students.
It may be mentioned here that more than 600 students from 20 schools would be the participant. DSP city Manmohan Singh Aulakh has been appointed as chief administrator for the function .
