Mrs.Kanta Gupta, Director DCM Group of Schools gets ‘Lifetime Achievement Award” from Lions Club Ashirward
Ferozepur, March 10: On the eve of the International Woman Day, Lions Club Ashirvad, Ferozepur – International Association of Lions Club – dedicated to the service of humanity – organized a vibrant function and honoured the prominent ladies of this border area for their contribution in the field of education and social services. The function was held at local Dev Samaj College for Woman.
Mrs. Kanta Gupta, The Director of DCM Group of Schools was awarded “The Lifetime Achievement Award” for her relentless work in the field of Education. The award was received by Er.Anirudh Gupta, CEO of DCM Group of Schools on behalf of her mother.
Besides, Ms. Neelima, ADC (D), Ferozepur, Dr. Satnam Kaur, Retired Principal, Dr. Anju Gupta, Lecturer, Dr. Sushma Thakkar and Sangeeta Dikshit were awarded on this solemn occasion. Dr. Madhu Prashar, the Principal of Dev Samaj College for Women was also awarded “Woman of Substance” Award for her excellent work in the field of Education.
Er. DPS Kharbanda, Deputy Commissioner, Ferozepur said on this occasion that the 21st Century belongs to the women only. He said ,we need to change our accepted wisdom and should work for the upliftment of the women strata. He said that these ladies, who have been awarded by the club, are proud of Ferozepur.
A cultural programme was also organized on this occasion which was whole heartily appreciated by the audience.
