Mobile of Sr.DOM in Railways snatched, three bikers caught on camera

Ferozepur, November 11, 2020: Mobile phone snatching is more common like the two-wheeler thefts.  They are relatively effortless to do than vehicles.  In one such bizarre incident, the mobile phone of Sudhir Kumar Singh, Senior Divisional Operations Manager, Firozpur was snatched during broad daylight at around 5.15 PM at the gate of DRM office.

Victims of smartphone thefts are crying hoarse, but phone recoveries in such cases are quite rare.

Sudhir said, the three masked youths bike-borne snatchers were riding an Activa scooter and its number plate was blurred and could not be read.

However, they were caught on CCTV and footages show that as soon as the mobile gets snatched, they manage to flee.

Meanwhile, a complaint has been lodged and provided the CCTV footage to trace out the snatchers with the police which is very important in mobile snatching cases to avoid its misuses by the criminals and asking the SIM operators to block it, to turn the stolen phone into a paperweight.
