MLA Pinki inaugurates ‘Parmarth Bhawan’ in Ferozepur
Ferozepur, March 12, 2021: On Thursday, Parminder Singh Pinki, MLA inaugurated ‘Parmarth Bhawan’ in the city when the locals and representatives from various NGOs were present.
An estimated Rs.3 crore has been spent on its construction with the help of donations of Rs.50 lakh from MLA and from local philanthropists in cash and in-kind of material.
Ashok Gupta President Managing Committee and Sohan Lal Gakhar, Advocate Chairman said, Parminder Singh Pinki has lion’s share of contribution for construction of this Bhawan which was need of the citizens as for such events like bhog and religious or social functions, residents had to make arrangements in the cantonment or elsewhere in the palaces.
Pinki said, the overall development of Ferozepur is his first priority and with the development during the tenure of Capt government and the coming up of PGI, State University at SBS Technical Campus, the city is not backward now.
