MLA Dahiya distributes grants to Govt School in Ferozepur

Ferozepur, September 25, 2023: Giving priority to education, grants are being issued for government schools under various schemes by the Punjab government, in a simple and impressive ceremony, MLA Rural Ferozepur, Rajneesh Dahiya distributed grants of Rs.5.57 Cr to the Government schools in Ferozepur at Govt. Sr. Sec. School, Loombri Wala.   District Education Officer (SEC) Ferozepur Chamkaur Singh Saran and District Education Officer (SEC) Ferozepur Satish Kumar were also present on this occasion.

Addressing the event, Block Primary Education Officer, Satiyawala, Inderjit Singh said, Rs.24 Cr have been sanctioned to Ferozepur district for walls and new rooms. He said that Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann is running many new schemes for education and government schools in which School of Eminence has been started.

DEO Chamkaur Singh Saran said in his address that a lot of efforts are being made by Education Minister Punjab Harjot Singh Bains for the betterment of schools. They have undertaken to complete 100% four-walls in government schools of the state and for this grant has been released.

MLA Rajnish Kumar Dahiya, in his address, praised the teachers of all the government schools of Ferozepur and said that all the schools are becoming very beautiful.

Thanking the Punjab government, he said that a grant of Rs.5.5 crore for walls and a grant of Rs.52 lakh for new rooms have been issued to the schools of Ferozepur constituency.

Neelam Dhawan, Principal Senior Secondary School Lumbardiwala, thanked the guests. At the end of the event, the letters of grants were distributed to the Chairmen, heads of schools.
