Members of Press Club Ferozepur celebrated Lohri

Ferozepur, January 13, 2018: The members of Press Club Ferozepur today celebrated Lohri in the club campus.  H.S.Sama, Chairman, Jaswinder Singh Sandhu, President and Gurnam Singh Gama along with various other members were present on this occasion.

LOHRI is the most popular of all the Punjabi festivals, and it is celebrated every year on January 13. The festival is associated with the harvest of the Rabi crops. 

Lohri is a great occasion that holds great importance for farmers. However, people residing in urban areas also celebrate Lohri, as this festival provides the opportunity to interact with family and friends.

A bonfire was also lit by the President and Chairman, followed by – Moongfali, Gajak, Reori and a cup of tea.   To add fun, Bobby Khurana performed with the cultural song.  All the members extended best wishes to each on this occasion.
