MC Elections: 112 candidates in field in 27 wards, 6 elected unopposed in Ferozepur

Ferozepur, February 5, 2021:  After scrutiny of papers filed for election to the MC elections in Ferozepur in 33 wards, 6 Congress candidates have been elected unopposed and in the remaining 27 wards, 112 candidates are in the field.

Whereas in Ward No.12 and 16, there are two Congress candidates are in the field in each ward, perhaps as a covering candidate.  Taking these too in consideration as elected candidates, 8 candidates stand elected.

As per the list released, the Congress candidates in ward No.4 Bohar Singh, Ward No.5 Mandeep Kaur, Ward No.9 Prem Sharma, Ward No.13 Sukhwinder Singh, Ward No.15 Pooja, and Ward No.18 Dinesh, have been elected as unopposed.
