Mayank Foundation’s Green Campaign of ‘Each One Plant One’ draws big response
Ferozepur, June 13, 2020: After playing a pivotal role on various fronts during the lockdown to earn applause from all and sundry, the recently launched campaign ‘Each one, Plant one’ by Mayank Foundation, to cater to boost ecology and environment, has also gathered a whole- hearted response from the residents of Ferozepur.
Informing about the success of the campaign, Secretary of the foundation Rakesh Kumar said that many people are coming up to contribute to the cause of environment by planting saplings. Last year, our organisation planted saplings in various educational institutes in the city. this year, the people are taking this initiative on their own and sending us their photos planting saplings. More than 150 persons have already shared such photos. Hence, the campaign had already become a hit, he added.
President of the foundation Anirudh Gupta exuded a lot of confidence that the campaign has garnered a lot of support from the people. The online app of the organization also invites the participants, to upload a photo with a sapling being planted. Many people are coming up with this unique idea and are uploading their photos.
We are also reaching out to the participants of the recently held 3rd Mayank Sharma Online Painting Competition to hand over the certificates and a sapling with a request to plant to contribute to the green movement started by the Foundation, said Deepak Sharma, Founder of Mayank Foundation.
