Mayank Foundation to run ‘Ye Diwali, Helmet Wali’ campaign on this Diwali too
Ferozepur, October 28, 2021: Mayank Foundation has decided to run its trademark campaign ‘Ye Diwali, Helmet Wali’ this year too as a part of Diwali festivities. Motivating the people to exchange the headgear- helmet as a gift on this Diwali will be a key part of this campaign.
Speaking about the flagship campaign of the foundation, Deepak Sharma, a founder member, said that this year the people will be reminded that they have to make the exchanging of helmets a tradition. This will usher in a new revolution of creating not only following traffic rules but ensuring safe rides on the roads.
He further said that helmets are also distributed by the foundation every year to mark the celebration of Diwali.
Installation of reflectors to vehicles, seminars on traffic rules are also included in the activities of the Foundation. This year from January 18 to February 17, seminars on the subject of road safety were organized in 35 educational institutions from January 18 to February 17, 2021. Bike and cycle rallies were also taken out during this period.
Deepak Sharma said that the foundation has taken the task of developing traffic parks in two schools every year. Similarly, the painting competition on traffic rules and road safety this year also catapulted into a big success. In 2018, 1300 participants participated in the painting competition. Similarly, 2200 in 2019, 6000 in 2020 and 6600 participants showcased their talent in 2021 participated in the painting competition.
