Married couple missing since 18th January
Police investigating into the matter, no clue so far
Ferozepur, March 28: 18th January, 2015, was a black day for the family headed by Gurnam Singh when his son Harpreet Singh (25) and daughter-in-law Daljit Kaur (22) have been missing.
It is more than a month now that a a newly married couple, belonging to village Mallanwala near ferozepur has gone missing for the more than a month now.
Gurnam Singh, said that his son and daughter-in-law have been missing since 18th January, 2015. They were getting treatment from a private nursing home at Ferozepur but both of them never returned to the village”, he added.
The family members tried to trace the missing couple but without any fruitful results as the mobile phone of his son is also off the air, he added.
However, a case has been registered at Mallanwala Police Station on 3rd March, 2015. According to Jagdev Singh, SHO, Mallanwala Police Station said that after the preliminary investigation it has been ascertained that the couple had reached to the nursing home for the treatment. We have also been informed that the family did not have any dispute with anybody and the matter is under investigation and the issue will be solved shortly.
Gurnam Singh, the ill-fated father, have requested the police officials to expedite the enquiry process.
