Ferozepur, April 25, 2024: With a hope to maintain winning streak since 1998, SAD fielded Nardev Singh Bobby Mann from Ferozepur for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections scheduled for June 1 in Punjab.

Shiromani Akali Dal President Sukhbir Singh Badal has announced party candidates for six seats for Lok Sabha elections 2024, including Nardev Singh Bobby Mann from Ferozepur, Mahendra Singh KP from Jalandhar, Ranjit Singh Dhillon from Ludhiana, Harsimrat Kaur from Bathinda. Badal, Sohan Singh Thandal from Hoshiarpur, and Hardev Saini from Chandigarh.
Among the major political.parties, AAP was first to announce Jagdeep Singh Kaka Brar MLA Muktsar from Ferozepur followed by SAD(A) as Bhupinder Singh Bhullar a retired police official. With this announcement of SAD candidate, now it’s turn for BJP to announce, who is still in a fix to nominate the suitable candidate to give a fight to SAD and Congress candidate, which too has not yet decided any name.
Ferozepur Lok Sabha seat has been occupied by Akali Dal candidates since 1998 to 2019 Lok Sabha elections. From this seat of Ferozepur, Akali Dal President Sukhbir Singh Badal won the 2019 general elections by securing 6,33,427 votes with a margin of 1,98,850 votes. Sukhbir Singh Badal defeated Sher Singh Ghubaya of Congress who got 4,34,577 votes. In the hope of not breaking this winning streak, Shiromani Akali Dal has handed over the ticket to Nardev Singh Bobby Mann for the Ferozepur Lok Sabha Elections 2024.
