Khalistan Zindabad’ and SFJ slogans found on wall of DRM Railway in Ferozepur
Ferozepur, June 13, 2022: A slogan referencing Khalistan was seen painted on a wall on Divisional Rail Manager office on Monday. However, officers moved swiftly to cover the slogans – Khalistan Zindabad and 26 January 2023 SFJ – with paint and police are investigating the matter.
The slogans were written with black paint on the boundary of the railway office and had put a spotlight on the security arrangements at the main office of the railway. However, after the incident, the security forces have been put on alert.
Satwinder Singh Virk, DSP who also reached the spot said, we are scrutinizing the CCTV footage to identify the persons who have written these slogans.
Added here, Gurpatwant Singh Pannu has also sent a recorded video along with a letter through email declaring that Khalistan Referendum voting inPunjab is slated to start on 26 January coinciding with India’s 74th Republic Day.
