Railway cancels 12 trains,\u00a0 reschedules 2 due to yard remodelling<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Ferozepur<\/span>, October 29, 2025: Indian Railways has cancelled<\/span> 12 long-distance trains and rescheduled 2 others owing to non-interlocking work at Durgapur<\/span> station, linked to the commissioning of a new Electronic Interlocking (E.I.) Cabin and extensive yard remodelling<\/span>. The disruptions will affect services originating from or terminating at major stations including Kolkata Terminal, Sealdah<\/span>, Howrah Junction, and others, with cancellations spanning from October 31 to November 22, 2025.<\/p>\n

Among the cancelled<\/span> trains, the 12325 Kolkata<\/span> Terminal\u2013Nangal Dam Express is cancelled<\/span> on its journey commencing November 20; its return, the 12326 Nangal Dam\u2013Kolkata Terminal Express, stands cancelled<\/span> on November 22. The 12329 Sealdah<\/span>\u2013Anand Vihar Terminal Express will not run on November 18, while the 12330 Anand Vihar Terminal\u2013Sealdah Express is cancelled<\/span> on November 19. The 12333 Howrah Junction\u2013Prayagraj<\/span> Rambag Express faces cancellation on four dates\u2014November 19, 20, 21, and 22\u2014with its return, the 12334 Prayagraj<\/span> Rambag<\/span>\u2013Howrah Junction Express, cancelled<\/span> on November 20, 21, and 22.<\/p>\n

Further cancellations include the 12357 Kolkata<\/span> Terminal\u2013Amritsar Express on November 18 and the 12358 Amritsar\u2013Kolkata Terminal Express on November 20. The 12353 Howrah Junction\u2013Lalkua Junction Express is cancelled<\/span> on October 31 and November 14, with the 12354 Lalkua Junction\u2013Howrah Junction Express affected on November 1 and 15. Additionally, the 13167 Kolkata<\/span> Terminal\u2013Agra Cantt Junction Express will not operate on November 20, and the 13168 Agra Cantt Junction\u2013Kolkata Terminal Express is cancelled<\/span> on November 22.<\/p>\n

In terms of rescheduling, the 12259 Sealdah<\/span>\u2013Bikaner Junction Duronto Express departing on November 23 will run 80 minutes late for one trip. Similarly, the 12313 Sealdah<\/span>\u2013New Delhi Rajdhani Express on the same date will be delayed by 80 minutes for one trip.<\/p>\n
