The chief guest of the function, Chairman of the Vidyalaya Management Committee (VMC) along with his wife, planted saplings at the school campus and emphasized the importance of environmental conservation to students and staff.<\/p>\n<p>The green initiative, launched under the KVS and the Government of India\u2019s flagship program \u2018Ek Pedh Maa Ke Naam\u2019, aims to plant at least 150 trees during the week. Students, accompanied by their mothers, planted saplings and pledged to nurture them in the name of both their mothers and Mother Nature.<\/p>\n<p>On the same occasion, the newly established NCC Junior Wing\/Junior Division (JW\/JD) comprising 15 girl cadets and 10 boy cadets for the academic session 2025\u201326 was formally inaugurated, marking a new milestone in the school\u2019s history. This is the first NCC unit at KV2 Ferozepur Cantt since its establishment in 1987, returning after a gap of 38 years.<\/p>\n<p>Distinguished guests at the event included Mrs. Shuchi Goyal, wife of the Chairman VMC; Lt. Col.
