68 trains services to hit by engineering work at Jandiala; Cancellations, diversions announced between June 6-24<\/p>\n

Ferozepur, May 16, 2025:\u00a0The Divisional Railway Office, Ferozepur, has announced a series of temporary changes to train operations due to Non-Interlocking (NI) work at Jandiala Station. This engineering work is part of the loop line extension project in the Sahnewal\u2013Amritsar section. According to the official statement, these adjustments of 68 trains will be effective between\u00a0June 6 and June 24, 2025.<\/p>\n

As per the plan, the adjustments will be in effect: Train Cancellations (June 6 \u2013 June 24, 2025) \u2013 the several trains will be cancelled including Chandigarh\u2013Amritsar, (12411\/12412), Amritsar\u2013Nangal Dam (14505\/14506), Amritsar\u2013New Delhi (14680\/14679), New Delhi\u2013Jalandhar City (14681\/14682), Amritsar\u2013Haridwar (12054\/12053), Amritsar\u2013Qadian, Beas\u2013Tarn Taran, Bhagwanwala\u2013Khemkaran and return services.<\/p>\n

The rescheduled Trains will be Amritsar\u2013Nangal Dam, Amritsar\u2013Sealdah, Amritsar\u2013Nanded, Amritsar\u2013Ajmer, and Amritsar\u2013Gorakhpur will run on altered timings on select dates.<\/p>\n

The short-termination and short-origin trails will be – Ludhiana\u2013Cheharrta (64551) will terminate at Tangra, New Delhi\u2013Amritsar (12497) will terminate at Jalandhar City, Cheharrta\u2013Ludhiana (64552) will start from Tangra, Amritsar\u2013New Delhi (12498) will originate from Jalandhar City.d<\/p>\n

Similarly, the train diversion will be of trains like Pathankot\u2013Old Delhi (22430), Amritsar\u2013New Jalpaiguri (12408), and many others including services to\/from Kolkata, Saharsa, Jaynagar, and Indore will operate on diverted routes via Tarn Taran\u2013Beas or Mukerian\u2013Jalandhar Cantt, bypassing Amritsar in parts or routing differently to accommodate ongoing work.<\/p>\n

However, the passengers are advised to check updated train schedules and plan their journeys accordingly said the railway communique.<\/p>\n
