As part of the new security measures, the traditional gate opening and the symbolic handshake between Indian and Pakistani border commanders have also been called off.<\/p>\n<p>The daily lowering of the national flag at sunset will continue, but without the usual public display and protocol-driven gestures that draw hundreds of visitors each evening.
