Ferozepur<\/span>, August 31, 2024: In a significant breakthrough against international drug smuggling, Ferozepur<\/span> police have arrested five drug peddlers and seized heroin along with substantial drug money. Acting on a tip-off, a police team led by SP (Investigation) Randhir Kumar, DSP (D) Varinder Singh Khosa, DSP Ravinder Pal Singh, and CIA Incharge Mohit Dhawan recovered 1.028 kg of heroin dropped by a drone near Kaccha Bandh at Bare Ke.<\/p>\n

In a separate operation, four drug smugglers were apprehended with 20 grams of heroin, \u20b914,80,300 in cash, and a Verna car. The arrested individuals include Gurbhej Singh alias Bheja from Amritsar, Arshdeep<\/span> Singh alias Arsh<\/span> from Gurdaspur<\/span>, Paramjit<\/span> Singh alias Pamma<\/span> from Ferozepur<\/span>, and Surjit Singh from Guruharsahai<\/span>. Paramjit<\/span> Singh and Surjit<\/span> Singh have prior criminal records, with 9 and 8 cases against them, respectively.<\/p>\n

In another raid, police arrested an individual named Sheera<\/span> from Jailwala in Mallanwala<\/span> Block, recovering 45 grams of heroin and a motorcycle. All suspects will be produced in court for remand and further investigation.<\/p>\n
