DIG Ferozepur Range launches plantation drive in Ferozepur, plants \u2018Bohar Sapling\u2019 at Police Line<\/p>\n

Ferozepur, July 12, 2024:\u00a0 As a part of Plantation Drive in Punjab, on a call from CM Punjab Bhagwant Singh Mann and DGP Punjab, the plantation drive was also launched in Ferozepur by Ajay Maluja, DIG, Ferozepur Range by planting \u2018Bohar Sapling\u2019 (Banyan Tree) at Police Lines, Ferozepur.<\/p>\n

Ajay Maluja, DIG said, this plantation drive has been started in all the three districts of Ferozepur Range.\u00a0 Around 5,000 saplings will be planted in the Ferozepur Range under the slogan \u201cAao Rukh Lagaiye, Dharti Maa nu Bachayiae\u201d.\u00a0\u00a0 This initiative of the police is to create a pollution-free environment<\/p>\n

The other officers and officials present also planted the saplings of different species in the campus of Police Linse, Ferozepur and a similar plantation drive has been started in the Fazilka and Tarn Taran districts of Ferozepur Range, said DIG.<\/p>\n
