Ferozepur<\/span>\u00a0Former Congress MLA Zira\u2019s pre-arrest bail rejected<\/p>\n

Ferozepur<\/span>, June 15, 2024:\u00a0 The Session Court has rejected the pre-arrest bail of\u00a0Kulbir<\/span>\u00a0Singh\u00a0Zira<\/span>, former Congress MLA from Zira and District Congress President.\u00a0\u00a0Zira<\/span>\u00a0had recently lost the Lok Sabha elections contested from the\u00a0Khadoor<\/span>\u00a0Sahib constituency as a Congress candidate.<\/p>\n

Kulbir<\/span>\u00a0Singh Zira was booked under Sections 307, 447, 427, 107, 148, 149 of the IPC and Sections 25, and 27 of the Arms Act on June 6.<\/p>\n

The court has dismissed the interim bail plea of\u00a0Kulbir\u00a0Singh\u00a0Zira\u00a0taking\u00a0cognisance<\/span>\u00a0of the call details of the former MLA based on the C-TRACE Report of the investigating agency which established that\u00a0Zira<\/span>\u00a0was in touch with the accused on the phone at the time of the incident.<\/p>\n
