Ferozepur, May 1, 2024: The Ferozepur police captured an escaped prisoner on the run after giving a push to the police, just for a short time, admitted to Civil Hospital making an excuse of using\u00a0the washroom.<\/p>\n

Sukhwinder Singh, DSP said, Rishu, a\u00a0prisoner, who was lodged in Ferozepur jail in the theft case, was admitted to the civil hospital on April 23 and was to be operated on. However, proper guards were also deployed.\u00a0 He made an excuse to go\u00a0to the washroom and fled away.\u00a0 There was a panic among the police and hospital staff.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, the police working swiftly came into action and captured the prisoner within no time as he was not expecting that the guard was also deployed outside the room.\u00a0 He has, however, been under various Sections of IPC (resistance or obstruction by a person to his lawful apprehension)\u00a0 for escaping from the custody of police while in the hospital and further proceedings are on.<\/p>\n
