Farmers Rail-Roko<\/span> Protest for 4 hrs : 9 trains cancelled<\/span> among 50 trains rescheduled in Ferozepur<\/span> Rail Division<\/p>\n

Ferozepur<\/span>, March 10, 2024:\u00a0 Due to farmers rail-roko<\/span> protest for four hours today, around 50 trains were affected \u2013 9 for cancellation<\/span>, 8 short termination, 7 short origination and 26 regulation of trains.<\/p>\n

Amid the farmers\u2019 Delhi Chalo<\/span>\u2019 march, on a nationwide \u2018rail roo\u2019 protest call by Samyukta<\/span> Kisan<\/span> Morcha<\/span> (non-political) and the Kisan<\/span> Mazdoor<\/span> Morcha<\/span>, the Ferozepur<\/span> in Ferozepur<\/span> also staged 4-hour protest (12 pm to 4 pm) by sitting on the railway tracks, to register their protest with the Centre<\/span> over three major demands among a raft of demands. The three major demands are \u00a0– for legal guarantee of MSP on crops, implementation of Dr Swaminathan’s<\/span> report and waiving off of loans on farmers besides execution of various other agreed demands.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
