Ferozepur<\/span>, October 11, 2023:\u00a0 The Ferozepur<\/span> police is up in arms and in action mode due to snatching and theft incidents in the district and got success in arresting 5 accused including one juvenile with recovery of motorcycles mobiles, pistol, rounds, and heroin<\/p>\n

Divulging with the details, Randhir<\/span> Kumar, SP(D) informed that all possible efforts are being made to stop the incidents of snatching and thefts in the district and for the purpose special teams have been formed under the tutelage of gazetted officers (GOs) for action against the anti-social and mischievous elements.<\/p>\n

He disclosed that 10 stolen motorcycles have been recovered with the arrest of one \u00a0persons- Gurjit<\/span> Singh of Markhai<\/span> village in Ferozepur<\/span>, and two persons- Daler<\/span> Singh of Khai<\/span> Pheme<\/span> Ki and Gaggi<\/span> of Canal Colony yet to be arrested, with one pistol with magazine, 2 rounds 7.65 along, one missed fire round and three empty rounds. \u00a0\u00a0On in depth investigation, it has been found that Daler<\/span> Singh is involved in 18 criminal cases registered against him in Fatehabad<\/span> Haryana<\/span>, Mansa<\/span>, Ferozepur<\/span>, Budhlada<\/span> Mansa<\/span>, Faridkot<\/span>, Makhu<\/span> Ferozepur<\/span>, Islamabad Amritsar under various Sections of IPC and Arms Act.<\/p>\n

In another arrest of two accused \u2013 Lokesh<\/span> Kumar alias Bablu<\/span> of Ferozepur<\/span> Cantt<\/span> and Satish<\/span> Kumar Chopra of Ferozepur<\/span> Cantt<\/span> \u2013 7 stolen mobiles have been seized from them. \u00a0A complaint was lodged by Savita<\/span> Goyal<\/span> of Defence<\/span> Colony Ferozepur<\/span> and they were nominated for snatching an Apple phone and Rs.8000 cash. \u00a0Earlier, two accused Kaka alias Kaki of Hake Wala<\/span>, later on Pawan<\/span> alias Rohit<\/span> alias Mooli<\/span> of Ferozepur<\/span> Cantt<\/span> were arrested along with one juvenile.<\/p>\n

In the third operation against the bad elements, 6 accused \u2013Manpreet<\/span> Singh of Jalalwala<\/span> in Ferozepur<\/span>, Vakir<\/span> Singh alias Baggi<\/span> of Dhipa<\/span> Wali<\/span> in Fazilka<\/span> with one motorcycle and \u2018kapa<\/span>\u2019, Khushkaran<\/span> Singhalias<\/span> Karan of Satiya<\/span> Wala<\/span> with 187 gm heroin Manpreet<\/span> Singh, Jagjiwan<\/span> Singh of Bharana<\/span> in Ferozepur<\/span> with one motorcycle, Jagjit<\/span> Singh alias Jeeta<\/span> with 80gm heroin and one motorcycle – \u00a0have been arrested with recovery of 267 gm, 2 motorcycles, one bullet motorcycle, two \u2018kapas<\/span>\u2019 and one mobile phone, he added.<\/p>\n
