Human Tragedy: 3 teachers, car driver died, 10 injured in road accident in Ferozepur<\/p>\n

DC directs RTA to check over-speeding vehicles for violating road safety rules<\/p>\n

Ferozepur, March 23, 2023:\u00a0 In a tragic incident, three teachers one driver reported to have died in a road accident of tempo traveller and bus while ten reported to have seriously injured and admitted in the hospital.<\/p>\n

As per information, three teachers \u2013 2 female one male and one driver have died on the spot when the tempo traveller hit the stationary bus, near Khai on Ferozepur-Fazilka road.\u00a0 These teacher were commuting daily between Jalalabad and Valtoha in Tarn Taran.\u00a0 Two persons have also got serious injuries and admitted in the local hospital.<\/p>\n

On seeing the pics shared on the social media, it looks that the accident was so terrible and the vehicle has gone out of control and slipped on the road and hit the stationary bus, due to slippery road with drizzling today morning.<\/p>\n

Those who died are \u2013 Prince Kamboj, Kanchan, Maninder Kaur \u00a0teachers and Ashok Singh driver<\/p>\n

On getting the news of this tragic incident, MLA Ferozepur City Ranbir Singh Bhullar, Deputy Commissioner \u00a0Rajesh Dhiman, SSP Bhupinder Singh Sidhu, Civil Surgeon Dr. Rajinder Pal and police officials and District Revenue Officer Arvind Prakash Verma reached the spot. Later, they met with the family members of the dead and injured and expressed their grief.<\/p>\n

DC said, the dead bodies will be brought to their homes soon after conducting the post mortem and no stone will be left unturned in the treatment of the injured.<\/p>\n

He also said that strict orders have been given to the Regional Transport Authority (RTA) to check over speeding vehicles and take strict action against those violating road safety rules so that such tragic accidents do not reoccur in future.<\/p>\n
