Spasht<\/span> Drishti<\/span> project provides free specs at Govt school students with low-vision<\/strong><\/p>\n HARISH<\/span> MONGA<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n Ferozepur<\/span>, February 4, 2023:<\/strong>\u00a0 Spasht<\/span> Drishti<\/span> project, committed to screen the eyesight of all the students of government schools in the district, covered another two schools \u2013 at Govt Sr. Sec. School, Sandhe<\/span> Hasham<\/span> and Govt High School, Basti<\/span> Nizamdin<\/span>.\u00a0 So far, around 2,000 students in 15 schools have been covered by providing spectacles to 500 students free of cost, who were diagnosed with eye-sight defects at a special programme<\/span> organized for the pious purpose.<\/p>\n Vipul<\/span> Narang<\/span>, founder of Spasht<\/span> Drishti<\/span> said, in all 83 students have been provided free spectacles in two government schools, after checking of 425 students.\u00a0 The students were also advised to have a balanced diet and do daily exercise to keep physically and mentally fit.<\/p>\n He said, \u201cPoor vision is the most common impairment affecting school aged children nowadays. This project has been started keeping in view the problem of reading by the students, in the class.
