Ferozepur Foundation comes forward to promote use of normal thread for kite flying<\/p>\n
Ferozepur, January 22, 2023: Ferozepur Foundation \u2013 a leading NGO of the city for providing \u2018langar\u2019 at civil hospital and especially active during the Covid pandemic – has now come forward to promote the use of normal thread for kite flying.<\/p>\n
The foundation members appeal to the residents not to use Chinese thread, which has many victims of cuts on throat, ear, and arm especially the commuters on two vehicles.<\/p>\n
We have located, one Darshan Lal, who is preparing normal thread since 1988 on the backside of the Sheetla Mata Mandir, said Shalinder Kumar founder of Ferozeur Foundation, asking the residents to go in for normal thread for kite flying during this festival season.\u00a0 Only with their cooperation, we can save the lives of people from becoming victim of killing thread, he added.<\/p>\n
Darshan\u00a0 Lal said, earlier there used to be 8-10 persons but now we are only two in view of less demand against the Chinese thread, despite being banned and costly.\u00a0 He said, the normal thread, made from without any use of chemical is available for Rs.50 which cost him Rs.30, which is not harmful and dangerous as compared to Chinese thread. He said, if all starts the use of normal thread, the kite flying lovers can enjoy more that long-term kite flying fight in the sky.<\/p>\n
