ACHIEVEMENTS OF BSF PUNJAB FRONTIER<\/span>–<\/span>2022<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/strong> Border Security Force, Punjab Frontier is responsible to safeguard the 553 <\/span>Km<\/span>s long tough and challenging Indo<\/span> Pakistan International Border of Punjab. <\/span>During many challenges including inclement weather conditions and smuggling,N <\/span>valiant<\/span> BSF<\/span> Jawans<\/span> are<\/span> guar<\/span>ding<\/span> the<\/span> borders<\/span> round<\/span> the<\/span> clock<\/span> with<\/span> utmost <\/span>dedication and unflinching spiri<\/span>t.<\/span><\/span><\/span> 2.<\/span> During the year 2022, BSF troops of Punjab Frontier have maintained <\/span>extremely high level of alertness and vigil. Resultantly, BSF has successfully <\/span>detected and captured<\/span> 2<\/span>2<\/span> Dro<\/span>nes<\/span> and seized<\/span> 316.988<\/span> Kgs Heroin,<\/span> 67<\/span> Weapons,<\/span> 3.<\/span> On the occasion of 58 Raising Day of BSF, f<\/span>or the first time in the history of <\/span>BSF, the ceremonial<\/span> \u2018<\/span>BSF Raising Day Parade’<\/span> was organized in the holy city of <\/span>Amritsar (Punjab) at Guru Nanak Dev University in rich traditional atmosphere. <\/span>Hon’ble Minister<\/span> of State for Home Affairs Shri Nityanand Rai<\/span> took salute of<\/span> 4.<\/span> BSF being a border guarding force also looks after the populace residing in <\/span>bordering<\/span> areas<\/span> and<\/span> for<\/span> their<\/span> well<\/span>–<\/span>being,<\/span> conducts<\/span> various<\/span> Civic<\/span> Action <\/span>Pr<\/span>ograms, which includes Free Medical Camps, s<\/span>kill development training,<\/span> 5.<\/span> In true spirit of<\/span> “JAI JAWAN JAI KISSAN”<\/span> to assist the border farmer<\/span>s and <\/span>for<\/span> speedy disposal of their problems<\/span>, meetings with the farmers are being held <\/span>regularly by respective Company Commanders. initiatives were taken to im<\/span>prove basic infrastructure at grass root le<\/span>vel, so as to <\/span>extend maximum facilities to Jawans in Punjab Frontier. In addition, keeping in <\/span>view the welfare of Jawans and their family members, Family Welfare Centers are <\/span>functional in each Unit where various C<\/span>ivil \/ Vocational courses are being run for <\/span>families of BSF pers<\/span><\/span><\/span>
