Border village government school student Navnoor wants to become DC<\/p>\n

Ferozepur, November 20, 2022: When many poor students from remote village area re passing the high level exams, Navnoor \u2013 a 10th class student of border village Government High School, Chak Ghubhai Urf Tangan, just 3 km from Indo-Pak international border fencing is also aspirant to become Deputy Commissioner.<\/p>\n

Dreams are the beautiful imaginations that one takes on to escape from the ground reality.\u00a0 While sometimes people incline to dream and live a fictional life but at the same time, there are students like Navnoor from the remote village Chak Ghubhai, to whom dream is a meaning in her life and these kinds of dreams are very important to achieve success and fame.<\/p>\n

During my visit to the school to attend the Eye Check-up Camp who is organizing in all the schools in the district and supplying spectacles free of cost to the students, after refraction, who were having difficulty in reading over black-board and even from book, I was asked to deliver a motivational lecture to outgoing 10th class.\u00a0 The first thing I noticed was a chart hanging on the wall with names of students with Aims of Life and on the top of the list was Navnoor with aim as IAS.<\/p>\n

There are around 14 students in the list with ambitions in life to become IAS, Teacher, Singer, Police Officer, Doctor, Army officer, and Writer.<\/p>\n

During interaction with Navnoor \u2013 who is 2007 born, from a very ordinary village family of four \u2013 father, mother and one brother doing BSc Nursing, is sharp in speaking with clear ascent.\u00a0 She is fond of reading books and it was more surprising when she showed my book Frankly Speaking \u2013 Silence too speaks from her bag which was donated by me to the school library to the Principal Shivani. Navnoor was in high spirits to crack the IAS exam, for which she needs guidance to prepare herself for the competition.<\/p>\n

When I talked to Shivani, Principal, Govt. High School, she said, I have shortlisted the go-getting students who have already set a goal of their life and provided them all possible help to guide them and even promised to help them after pass-out.\u00a0 Our teachers often talk to the students with successful stories, which have risen from the ground to the top. I have also planned to take these ambitious students to the senior officers, heads of the department to their chambers one day, to have an actual feeling of their working style, to add more motivation to their determination.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
